The summer fitness class schedule tends to be a little lighter than that of Fall through Spring II.
If you do not see your favorite class listed, chances are it will return in the Fall.

On January 12th, ninety-seven participants arrived for the first weigh-in of 2008.
Over the twelve week competition we saw participants change their lives by incorporating exercise as a regular part of their day,
attending weigh-ins to stay on track, and signing up for classes. We congratulate everyone who participated.

We must stress the importance of registering for your class(es). A class must have a minimum of 5 registrants to remain on the schedule. Classes will be cancelled due to low or no
attendance.
Every attempt is made to keep all classes running on time and on schedule; however, emergency situations do occur and classes may be cancelled sometimes at the last
minute. If this happens, we invite you to use the Wellness Center and all it has to offer.
As a member, you will receive your "core classes" free with your membership. In this
brochure, we have 16 FREE classes to choose from. As new classes are added to the
schedule, there will be a nominal fee attached. This fee will be only enough to cover the
cost of your instructor. For example, the member fee for Basic Yoga is $12.00 for 10
classes during the 5 Week session. This equals about $.75 per class. It is our goal to
keep all classes reasonable and affordable.
For the safety of participants as well as your
child, we must stress that children under the age
of 13 are not permitted in the Fulton Gym during
class times. This includes sitting along the gym
walls as well as being outside the gym doors.
Children ages 13 and over are welcome to attend
any of the Adult classes we have running.
Join Marcy Stewart as she starts your day with yoga and relaxation.
Experience in Yoga is not necessary. Marcy will introduce traditional
yoga poses along with proper breathing technique. Breathe a little
deeper all day long. Class maximum of 15. Class will meet in the
Pickering Room.

CLASS REGISTRATION SAYS – YOU LOVE IT!!!
This class will be both a cardiovascular and muscle conditioning class.
Here’s how it will work....
We will have two participants on each side of a standing punching bag. Your instructor will demonstrate moves,
both kicks and punches on his/her bag. We will also incorporate shadow boxing, skipping rope, lower body conditioning,
core work and flexibility.
Everyone taking the class MUST have boxing gloves or wraps to participate.
Anyone in attendance without the proper equipment will not be permitted to exercise. We will be selling gloves and
wraps at the Welcome Center; however, our inventory will be small. If you are interested in taking the class,
you may wish to purchase your own gloves. If you wish to purchase your own gloves, you may try karatesupply.com.
Due to sanitary reasons, we will not have "class gloves" for participants.
Class will be limited to 30 participants.

class is held in a private class room. Anything Goes will help you get comfortable
with exercise and
your surroundings. A variety of basic exercise formats will be used, such as circuit, the ball, step,
follow along aerobics and more. Due to space limitations, this class is limited to 12. Instructed by Carnell Mattlin, class is held on the second floor of Building A

Now located in the Wellness Center, enjoy the ride where the weather never matters.
Traditional cycle classes are all 45 minutes in length and follow the same format as far as hills, sprints or flat surface.
There are 9 slots available in each
class. When you register for a class, such as M/W/F at 6:00 AM, this reserves your bike for the entire session. There is no "guessing" as to whether there will be a bike
available.
In an attempt to be flexible with riders, we have incorporated the "floater" system. If you register for a class, such as, M/W/F 6:00 AM and find that Friday is a
problem, you may "float" into another class, but only if there is an open bike. This is not a guarantee. We must stress that there is NO PAY AS YOU GO or
DROP IN
ACCESS in this program. You must be registered to either ride or float into a class. Members are always given first opportunity for bikes;
however, remember non-members may reserve bikes during non-member registration. Your registration is non-transferable and non-refundable.
If you are a floater and a registered participant shows up, even late, you may be asked to give up your bike.

The force of gravity and the absence of a "bottom" provide a stable base of support and create an unstable
work environment. In deep water, not only the large muscles of the lower body are working against increased
resistance, but so are the muscles of the upper body. No swimming skills necessary; however, you should

Employing the principles of Hatha Yoga in water, allows for ease of movement and additional flexibility that may not be possible on dry land, especially for those with
limited mobility. The water resistance increases the effectiveness of the postures, and allows a gentle strengthening of muscles and joints while the buoyancy encourages more
grace and flow of movement. AquaYoga feeds the whole being - the freedom of movement frees the mind allowing you to feel the joy within. Instructed by Annie Weaver.
