Learn. Grow. Thrive.
Partner with Youth
2011 Annual Support Campaign
My first experience with the YMCA was at age
five when my mom took me to swim lessons at
the Columbus Y. During the last ten years I have
been a member of the Lancaster Family Y. I
have seen first hand the programs and activities
available to our children - regardless of their
family income or ability to pay. The Lancaster
Family Y has always been a safe haven for our
youth.

There is no other non-profit quite like the
Family Y. The Family Y is, and always will be,
dedicated to building healthy, confident ,
connected and secure children, adults, families
and communities. The support opportunities
at the family Y empower people and the
community to Learn, Grow and Thrive.
With your financial support in 2011, the Family
Y helped change the lives of 392 children.
The children received help in aquatics, dance,
gymnastics, child care and sports. Donations
from 322 individuals made this possible.
Your contribution to the Partner with Youth
Campaign is critical to help make this happen
again in 2011.
Your partnership
will ensure the
availability of these
programs to every
child, adult and
family. The Family
Y community and
I appreciate your
consideration.
Why your support means so
much to the Family Y...

At the YMCA, one of our most important goals has always
been to enrich the lives of kids in our community.
Children at the YMCA develop self confidence, learn
values for the future and grow up stronger and
healthier by participating in YMCA programs.
Our annual support campaign helps us achieve the
YMCA's basic mission of improving and enhancing the
lives of all members.
The Partner with Youth Program allows children to participate in YMCA
programs that they otherwise might not be able to afford. The YMCA
welcomes everyone, regardless of age, gender, religion,
physical ability or income.
